Damn, Bob, you have GOT to stop making me cry. I'm a wreck.
OK, make me cry more. After 8 years of anger and frustration I need some tearful relief.
This morning I wiped my yard-sign down and brought it in for a place on the wall. I put it in my daughter's old room. You know, my offspring who VOTED. And campaigned for him since the primaries began.

Please give generously to Democrat Jim Martin. He's in a runoff, scheduled for December 2nd, to defeat Republican Saxby Chambliss for a U.S. Senate seat in Georgia. National Republicans will be all over this race, and we should be too!!!
Go here to give now.

Best Congressional election result from yesterday:
NORTH CAROLINA
Elizabeth Dole, who has made more and more increasingly insane, disgusting comments was TROUNCED by double digits.
Worst:
MINNESOTA
Although the race is so close that Minnesota must do a recount, apparently Al Franken has lost. Franken, how badly must you suck at politics to lose to someone as pathetic as NORM COLEMAN in a SOLID BLUE STATE with OBAMA on the ticket during a year of DEMOCRATIC LANDSLIDES?
Please, GET OUT NOW.

Its very humbling to see the people of not only Kenya but the whole world celebrating.
MG - Coleman's campaign against Franken was twice as dirty as McCain's campaign. Someone even distributed a flier that claimed Franken wanted to give porno to kids. Obviously thats ridiculous, but that only scratches the surface of how nasty it was.
How on earth did Stevens stay in power in Alaska? Hes a convicted felon for fucks sake. Convicted felons can't vote but they can be elected to public office? Okee
I am feeling a certain amount of discontent with the state of Alaska. Not only have they delivered the nation Palin and Stevens, but on a more personal level a couple from Alaska recently caused a great deal of grief for my family.
I think Alaska is going to start being made fun of more than Texas. Ya know... steers and queers and all that stuff. Comedians rejoice in their new fodder.

Imagine being Malik and finding out your brother is the new leader of the free world.

Ashby:
I've apologized all I can for Alaska.
I don't know a cure for cranial rectalitis, or else I would have started a vaccination program here long ago.
New Mexico is looking more and more appealing all the time.
So is Ireland.
