Tonight! I can't even look at the stock market anymore. And Sarah Palin keeps on making with the talking.

And speaking of HuffPo, this from Andy Borowitz is wonderful--for those of you wondering what NBC was going to do to Morning Shmoe:

Oooooh, LF, perfect. Just the right amount of snark, irony and Bob-like questions such as "Seriously? SERIOUSLY? SERIOUSLY?
I love it.
(no link, sorry--wait. PUPPIES! No, Jane is in charge of those). Hmmm.

I am so sick of Sarah Palin (and her nastiness), and our BBQ media giving her a pass on everything--glad they are more than happy to do fluffy interviews after she basically stonewalled when it really counted.

No - THIS lady needs to join GDAB. She's wonderful:

I caught a little of the Wolf interview. That up and down sing-song shit was more than I could take. He was kissing ass and she was yaking in these unending sentences. Nonsense.

Jane...I wanted to thank you for the shiba inu puppy link....my 10 year old son is now obsessed with watching them and even made an account so he can chat. He is there as we speak! (better than a lot of stuff he could be watching)!

I wish the BBQ media would ask Palin about this...but I won't hold my breath. Moose burgers and God enabled 2012 doorways are more important, also...

My boss had the puppies on her computer today- she mentioned they got a writeup in TIME or something, hence the huge increase in number of viewers since the past weekend.
FAMOUS puppies! If Obama goes for the "two dog solution" as Maddow mentioned, I bet one of these babies gets the job. Or else they'll "fetch" a huge price on the Ebay. Ahem.

I was *ahem* in Russia, so could SOMEONE tell me when Palin said "the position flexible" and such as? I'd like to start there with the rewatching of the Palin interviews I missed. Also.

Leetle Reeky the Chihuahua is feeling poorly this evening and so am I. Nonetheless, I have risen from my bed of pain to give credit where it is due. I believe that Sarah Palin may be the second greatest thing that ever happened to the democratic party. Obama is the first. Of course, this could just be the Tums talking.

I hope "the position flexible" continues. :) So far, I've been able to use 'the position missionary' and 'the position cowgirl.' There is an entire Kama Sutra left!

Carl - not on the blog. Bob hasn't given me a sufficient opening for that one yet, although I suppose I could use it for a variety of stories regarding Mooselini.

Whew. I thought it was Elvis on my front porch. It's just two drunks having a smoke. Not that Elvis would sound like 2 drunks--oh, never mind. I'd lost the exact line from which sprang "position flexible" so thanks for snagging that, QT (and Jane for asking). (Jane, come collect your 2 drunks. Or Elvis, whichever. They are speaking Russian and scaring the older neighbors). (OMG your Mom too? Scary, isn't it? Even in email--spellcheck, re-read...). Not on meth, just jumping in between some other things. Kat, the position oh never mind, Cminri's kid is watching on these same internets. Shit that was a long wordgasm. Sorry.

And where is Ashby?
Carl, yes but for the drunken part. I'm afraid it's just me.
Maddow would be perfect but she hasn't earned enough chits in the old-boy network. It she were to get the job I'd eat Pat Buchanan's shorts. (Ewww, make that his socks--ewww, never mind.)

I agree with DP about Maddow, but for slightly different reasons. I think she would be amazing...mainly because she is so fucking amazing, and smart, and beautiful....sorry...I digress. As much as I hate to say it, I don't think the network is ready to have a liberal lesbian on at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. Which totally sucks, but I think that would impact their decision. They are going to choose someone who has been kissing a little more Republican ass over the past few months.

Carl, I think that was Mr. Olbermann's point just now. She's become hilariously available now that the pressure is off. And I hope someone archives every single word and frame.

Maybe one gets to exclusively ask her about Ayers, one gets to exclusively ask her about Africa and yet another gets to exclusively hang out with her while she makes moose chili. She has becomes such a total media whore.

DP I saw an Ashby post from earlier today (? yesterday?) so he's still around.
Maybe the MTP job will stay a temp job until They decide Rachel's the Man for the job...God please don't give it to Brokawwwwww (as BBQ sauce dribbles from his mouth)

Kat, I hadn't even thought of the lesbian angle. Just the female and hasn't-been-there-long factors. You has a point. But you know what? If she had a lesbian co-host? All those good ole boys would put aside their prejudices and sound off on what a great idea Maddow would be. Yoo betcha.

Jane, I have had the same problem for months. Click on the video, then click on the YOUTUBE sign in the bottom right, then copy the address in the address bar, close your current internet window, open another window and paste your address. That should fix your problem. Bob puts the best videos on his site that must be watched by all man or woman kind.

$300 billion.
That's how much Paulson - BushCo - has given away already from the bailout. Almost half. How much do you think will be left of it when Obama takes office? I'm thinking.....none.
I believe that those who don't already regret that bill will soon.

I heard that $350 billion had to remain for Pres. Obama. However, does anyone know where the $350 billion has gone already? If there was $350 billion dollars put into the stock market won't the DOW being going up. I am not an expert because I got a "D" in Microeconomics. I never really understood the supply side economics theory. I think it has something to do with the fact that is makes no sense whatsoever. BATMAN is in trouble quickly to the Bat Cave!!
