Um...

That was the big press conference? Three questions?

Wow. She's ridiculous.

Shuster: "Palin held a very, very, very, very short news conference."

Sometimes I just love that guy.

I live in Missouri and I just emailed the election department at the sec of state's office. I'll let you know if they get back to me and the result. They don't call us the Show Me state for nothing.
Thanks again for BCGDAB it's a riot!

Palin is blathering on about Samuel the Asscrack again.

What, you guys all have day jobs or something? I feel like Bob's peanut gallery here.

Sorry people, I thought I was in the "What's up with MO?" Thread. Must get head in game!!

Pure and simple narcissism. It has to be. She's had a taste of the national stage, seen herself on TV, and now she has adoring fans and GOP sycophants. She has the ability to call a press conference (such as it was) or respond to interview requests so she can spew more "positions flexible alsoes" (sic).

She is a huge, fucking narcissist.

There's a clause in her wardrobe agreement that says she gets to keep using the Gucci handbag and pumps so long as she's raking in cash for the RNC.

I'm surprised they didn't put her on that GOP Cruise so she could play Julie the cruise director. Bathing suit competition guaranteed.

donpanic23,

I prefer the term, self-unemployed, thank you very much.

Video of the press conference, please?

Strawdog, I like that. A lot.

If the Dems pick up the Alaska Senate seat it's going to ruin her entry into national politics. She'll have to wait for Young to get indicted and try for Congress, but that's not nearly as prestigious.

DP--I telecommute over the Interwebs.

Plus, the people that work for me hate me because I'm beautiful and prefer that I work from home so as not to cause any jealousy.

Gotta agree with jmrunning3 on this one.

The only thing that makes sense is some kind of pathological narcissism. Throw in the fact that she is an attention-whore, and that she clearly gets off on the idea of power.....well, the results speak for themselves. Holding a press conference when she clearly doesn't have much to say.

Two things:

1. Someone in the MSM is going to point out the clearly sexist behavior by Rick Perry, right? Gently nudging her away from the mic, then tugging her back in front of the mic like a Principal would do with the young student body president about to give her first speech to the school assembly. Talk about handlers...he was mauling her right there on stage! ;)

2. What was with her hair today?? And that's not a sexist comment...it was just whacked. If Joe the VP's comb-over was in disarray I'd wonder what was up there too.

Cacti - I can imagine your point (and I don't mean the telecommuting). Speaking of, I love how Jenny's comments seem to accumulate drool from some of the guys here. Maybe I should refer to my little OCD Monk-type thing that keeps me home as "sex work". It has a nicer tone. Not as scary. And wishful thinking.

Arggghhh....Will someone get this buffoon off the TV already....

Sarah "peeeuuu" Palin..this "empty bag" was a joke, a living and breathing example of how anyone, ANYONE can get elected to public office.......someone call Bill Maher or Woody Harrelson and get them to run for office in Alaska, at least its legal to possess marijuhana in that state.....

The McCaint campaign filled this "empty bag" full of lies, blatherings and slander but they forgot that there was a piece of crap in the bag already in the bag....and it smelled...really badly...and also causing the campaign to smell really badly as well..

The RNC/GOP lie machine have used her up and thrown her away....too bad that they spent what little money they had on designer clothing, Vuitton hand bags and makeup artists...all they really needed was a "fragrance consultant"...to cover up that awful smell.....

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and a "pit bull with lipstick"...you can sell the dog..
