Here's the statement I'd LIKE to see...
"I don't have anything to add to what is currently known about the ongoing Blagojevich investigation. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald has proven himself an able and tenacious prosecutor in the past, as I'm sure Scooter Libby can tell you. I would like to assure Mr. Fitzgerald and the public that as President, I won't be overturning his work on this case whatever the outcome."
