Morning Awesome
Adam Kimmel presents: "Claremont HD"
This is one of the most insane things I've ever seen. When I hit just 40mph going downhill on my bike, I feel like I'm going die at the next switchback. I can't imagine hurtling downhill at 60+ on a skateboard.

You know, it kind of strikes me that if politicians are going to legislate against drug use on the grounds that it's dangerous, they really should legislate against all forms of extreme sports (maybe even regular sports) because I'm sure they're statistically far more destructive.
If they want to be consistent, I mean.
Me, I'm all for letting people do damned-fool things if it floats their boat, as long as they're aware of the risks.

To put it simply, those guys are freakin' crazy.
Closed course, maybe. But with traffic...???

Thanks Bob, it doesn't get more awesome than that. What a rush. Sitting here in my cubie at work I had to hang onto my desk just to make it down the hill. Great steady filming. How they do that?
Friday morning rush - just great!

Bob, the bike analogy is apt. When I used to ride down that same road it was uncomfortably exciting-- you can't help but hit 40 right away, and there are a couple deceptive benders near the top, then the road narrows and gets chattery closer to the bottom, and there are parked cars to go with the traffic. Yikes-- unbelievable what these guys did.

Mon Dieu, qui est magnifique!
Merci, Bob.
(Now, please excuse me while I spend the next ten minutes pacing off this adrenaline rush.)
