The Republicans are silly and stupid. To repeat: federal spending is the only way out of this thing, and history has proved it. But this Republican Party -- the party that obliterated the budget surplus and blew up the debt -- griping about overspending? Hah. Hah.

The GOP has proven repeatedly that it doesn't know how to deal with a downturn, however slight, in the economy & they have no clue what to do about this sinkhole they've created. It's a cycle - the Dems clean up the mess & set the country on a good track again, the GOP ousts the Dems with manufactured outrage over...something (who can predict?) then proceeds to fuck everything up again.

While I was watching Maddow last night and listening to Krugman, it occurred to me that we should all start sharpening our pencils and give fair warning to all the GOP assholes out there that are poised for a fight. We MUST hold them accountable this time. I am tired of every fricking redneck half wit moron with a third grade education electing people who think they know how to spend my money...OK.. I am really going to have my coffee now...
