One was a guy with a turban.
One was a guy with dark skin.
One was a guy with a beard.
/the same three guys over and over (all those guys look the same, you know)

That is the same defense Blackwater is trying to use. "We only shot three chilren."

And if Michael Smerkonich got a sex change he'd be once, twice, three times a lady but anyway...

I was going to post a long diatribe on the fallacy of the efficacy of torture, but you covered it well in yesterday's rebuke of scarborough.
Torture will get you whatever answer you want.
ONE is too many. In addition to not being a reliable source, it places US persons at greater risk since we no longer have any moral ground to object. I was still active duty, and in a position that could potentially make me a POW, when I learned via the news what we were doing with official direction.
I truly despise these fuckers for what they've done to this country. I'm also dismayed by how many people I've met who think it's OK to torture a few people "to keep us safe." And why can't they reveal to us what great terrorist plots they've stopped via "enhanced" techniques? National security issues, you know. wink, wink

Water-boarding was of course only one of the items on the menu. It is more interesting, in a sense, to ponder the road one must have taken in life to arrive at the point where one can become a torture apologist. Perhaps there are just too many people in positions of power and influence who would have significantly elevated psychopathy test scores, including the Psychologists who worked for the torture program.

It's interesting to me that none of the apologists have a background in foreign languages, police interrogation techniques, or even investigation. They all majored in Punditry 101.
