Obama = Bush's Third Term?

Another face slap from Barack "W:" Obama...
"Cristeta Comerford brings such incredible talent to the White House operation and came very highly regarded from the Bush family," Michelle Obama said in a statement released by the transition team.
That's right. Despite the horrors that BushCo has brought America, the Obama administration has decided to keep the EXACT SAME White House Chef.
Look, food is important. It's something many Americans eat almost every day. It may be just symbolic who prepares food for our President but it sends a strong signal to the world when you let the same person who fed the Bush gang of criminals cook your salmon and rice. Is this the change we voted for? Is it a blatant attempt to throw a bone to the Filipino community? (Let's face facts - if no Filipinos voted for Barack Obama, he wouldn't have gotten as many votes...so it's time to pay back some of that fish sauce.) Does Obama think if he slaps enough face it sounds like applause?
All I can say if that Barack Obama just lost MY vote for the next three years!

lee, that is just silly! everybody knows obama can cleanse the bush right off of that cook. he is the magic...nevermind...only a racist asswipe would say that!
i am curious as to why all the gross scary republicans are so giddy about his inauguration. why is cheney "excited"?! his giddiness alone is enough to make me get into my safety ball and rock for a good 15.

This is just offensive. Her belief that people choose to not be chefs and her obvious bias against microwave burritos and fast food makes her a food bigot. For someone like that to have a place of prominence is going to kill the netroots support for Obama.
It's time to start a campaign for someone to replace Obama. Someone I will agree with 100% of the time.

My cynical side asks, "How soon before some asshole wingnut publicly says something to the effect of, 'Well, I hope Chef Comerford knows how to make a mean fried chicken dinner and hominy grits for breakfast!' Will it be Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter or Michael Savage?"

I am thinking this is a security issue. This Chef kept Bush alive for 8 years without poison being placed into his food. If I were the first Black President I would keep the Chef that kept the Worst President alive for 8 years. Did you want Obama to employ a Taster?
