'That Guy Is Evil!'

Far-right filmmaker John Ziegler on Sarah Palin:

[W]hen she looked at the back cover of my first film…and saw the photo of one of the film’s targets, Keith Olbermann, she literally let out a shriek and, pointing to his photograph, declared, “THAT guy is EVIL!”

Nah. Evil is when you explicitly claim that your political opponent is a terrorist. Evil is when you exploit your Downs baby for political points. Evil is when you speak with a shit-eating grin while actual live turkeys are being decapitated by a geeker covered in bloody gore.

gotta disagree here bob
none of that makes evil, stupid, tasteless, a lot of other things maybe...
put the pipe down, take a step back....

I like how she tried to claim that the Couric interview was spliced to make her look bad. The interview might have been spliced a little for TV, but all that gibberish and ignorant b.s. that came out of her mouth was unadulterated. Sorry, you're a moron Palin.

Those turkeys didn't die because of evil, Bob. They died for the sake of comedy. I only hope that when I go, it'll produce half that many cringing laughs.

Gosh, Mystico - let's hope they don't drain you into a funnel on camera.

Posted by: PackyJ at January 8, 2009 7:18 PM

If Keith is evil, then I guess evil is good, really good.

Posted by: Ellen at January 8, 2009 7:26 PM

Packy, As long as Sarah Palin's obliviously sipping her suspiciously latte-looking beverage in front of me while my puffy-jacketed murderer mugs for the camera... I kind of think Id be okay with it.

Posted by: EL Mystico at January 8, 2009 7:30 PM

In the spirit of George Bush, maybe she meant to shriek, "THAT guy is LIVE!"

Awesome opener from Keith on this tonight btw.

Hmmm I'm kinda wondering why FoxNews has not tried to snap her up to be a commentator. That is where failed Republican candidates go. There, or a position in a Republican administration, a lobbying firm, or jail. I mean, she has such a command of the nonsensical, you'd think she'd be a shoe-in for FoxNews.

A Sarah Palin haiku:

Mind of formless void
A body made for birthing
Words without content

KO showed a bit of the interview just now...wow. She's not getting fonder with absence.

evil like a hot fudge sundae!

this whole site is a joke keep up the disillusioned humor!

Posted by: strykerr at January 8, 2009 9:07 PM

thanks stykerr...we plan to!

now run away...

Posted by: cminri at January 8, 2009 9:33 PM

Matt, I'm dying of laughter!

You could slip that haiku right into the Tao Te Ching (which is, of course, about emptiness), and no one would know the difference.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, it is so fucking Funny. How can you people come here to joke and laugh when our homeland is so fucked up? How can you continue to indulge yourselves when so many Americans are hurting? You people make me sick! I may be a progressive, but I know what it is to live on the wrong side of the tracks...Literally. And obviously you swine have no fucking clue....you are the weakest of the weak; no wealth, but nothing to die for. I cannot believe that our own people are perpetuating the realities of lore. There are no more happy parties! And there are no more overwhelming Xmases; just a slaughter of hope. What we are becoming is just as bad as what we hoped would die, and if you need evidence, than come here and read the comments. You people are obviously disconnected from the people who have nothing or else...The blues were a way to make the feeling go away, nothing more or nothing less, and until you people have felt the blues you will never truly understand your own wants and needs. What happens when there are no policy boundries, which may happen in a resource dependant world, what happens when Putin sees no sustainability for humans? You People Make Me Sick

Do tell guru

Don't hold back. Tell us how you really feel. But please promise us all that you'll continue to wallow in your misery.

And stryker, ditto on the run away advice from another commenter.

Oh and enjoy your misery wallowing as well.

I am really hoping she runs against Lisa Murkowski for Senate--if she does, the gloves will come off in her own backyard, against another woman. Pain will lose, and the BBQ media will finally concede she is a complete fraud. Not that Murkowski is anything special, but even her limited, nepotism fueled experience will shine a bright light on the fraudulent, know-nothing Palin.

Her rhetoric against Obama was the most despicable act against an AMERICAN Presidential candidate in American history--loving the karma--

run Sarah, run! For Senate, that is...

yow...who let the pajama bottom cases off the bus on our block?

Posted by: bibimimi at January 9, 2009 2:12 AM

@PostModGuru:

I read this site because if I don't laugh about some of this idiocy, I'll cry at what America is in danger of becoming due to people who think, among other things, that Sarah Palin is awesome/great/a smart person.

Also, it must be great to be able to divine every person's entire situation though posts on a blog. Tell me, how does one acquire this power?

You don't know anything about this blog and its commenters if you think that not a single one of us has been affected by all that is going on in America today.

Posted by: Eruleptanero at January 9, 2009 2:19 AM

WOW! That Guru really sucks ass. Maybe he should have given up "golf" instead of humor. Honestly if you can't laugh at Palin then you might as well just take that leap cause there is nothing funnier in th history of politics than her Vice Presidential candidacy.

Stay smart and funny GDAB'ers!

the guru is the next phase of 'concern troll'

the 'doom troll'

Posted by: bibimimi at January 9, 2009 12:39 PM

@Guru fellow:

Well. Jeez Guru, I used to live in a 3rd world country where hot water was laughable and toilets
where holes in the ground. Before comming to the US I'd not so much as taken a bath. Nope. I'd bathe from a bucket of stove-heated water over the said hole in the ground.

So how bad where your side of the tracks? How much do I have to learn from your worldy view and hardscrabble ways? I'd just love to know.

But while we are waiting for more life lessons from The Guru, how about this one from me: It's a blog. A blog. Not even about life. But about how Palin is a moron. Calm down. Take it easy man. Things could be worse.

At least here you're allowed to blog about your political figures without retribution (cliche but...). I'd get 5 years in jail in my homeland for just making fun of the King.
How about that for a 'slaughter of hope'.

Oh and P.S: People who are actually destitute do not wish for "something to die for". Nope we're all stocked up on those reasons, but thanks. We wish for something to live for. But, hey, thanks for the advice anyhow.
