Morning Joe

Just turned on the show. Has Scarborough thrown a tantrum, cried about negative viewer comments, red-baited, called someone "too stupid to be on TV," blurted out "fuck you," or shouted down a guest yet? You know, because he's all about the civilized discourse.

Waiting for him to "purple nurple" a guest during one of his ego maniacal tantrums.

But DAMN that would be riveting to watch!

He went on a silly rant about Sean Penn and "Milk". I decided it was a good time to do anti-virus on the laptop and missed the rest. That happens to me a lot with that show. Some days it's the only way I get moving in the morning.

Nope

Shut the fuck up you communist bastard

Posted by: Cpandtle at February 23, 2009 8:09 AM

Nothing big yet really.

To their credit.... they were kinda hard on John Zeigler... the idiot who's touting his bogus documentary "How Obama Got Elected".

Morning Joke said, "The President's press secretary, Robert Gibbs, ATTACKED cable host Rick Santelli and I, for one, am personally offended by that!" I thought that Robert Gibbs was asked about it.

WTF? Why was he talking about being on a plantation with Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC)?

Posted by: AdyLeigh at February 23, 2009 8:12 AM

Clyburn and Harry Reid wihin 10 minutes of each other? Hmmm...

Leave Joe alone. :(

Sloane,

There is only one JOE that needs left alone and it is I the POTATO!

Posted by: GIthePotato at February 23, 2009 8:49 AM

This is what I mean about the Scarborough M.O.; being hard on a fringe dick like Zeigler is supposed to give him carte blanche to undermine/mock/shout down any progressive issue later on, because he's "earned" his tough-but-fair status from shit like that.

It is so obvious and cheap, "inoculating" yourself by making token gestures that, by the by, allow you to then make false equivalences between sensible people who disagree with you (Maddow, Shuster, etc.) and the lunatics you've made token stances against.

He's a high-school gym-teacher of a bully.

What was with the plantation talk when Rep. Clyburn of SC came on? I heard him mention that word, and that shit is NOT funny when you're talking to an older black man from SC.

I woke up to it--anyone know what Morning Joke meant or was saying? If anything, it's a not so subtle way of reminding African Americans of their "place."

And why is Chuck Todd such a dick? What's HIS problem?

Jim Clyburn accused Mark Sanford of having a plantation. That was his joke. Also, Joe seems to love civil discourse considering he is friends with Clyburn, Maxine Waters and has Harry Reid and Obama people on his show. Too bad more aren't like him.

I wondered when it would start to happen. Bob, you have arrived. (I think someone ruptured something while spewing "communist" or "bastard", not sure which).

Posted by: dontpanic23 at February 23, 2009 11:50 AM

I for one am sick of Joe the Bully ranting all his right wing crap and then pretending to be balanced with stuff like how he is young enough to have grown up in an era that had a colorblind attitude among his peers. I remember the campaign when he contstantly showed Jeremiah clips. Why is MSNBC so white? Just a bunch of old white guys sitting around opining...A regular of color would be great..not just parading Jonathan Capehart and Eugene Robinson out for a few minutes.

Watching Morning Jackass is bad for your health.

If I were running MSNBC, the morning show would be hosted by Tamron Hall. Mika can stay or go, whichever she wants.

Tamron makes Joe look like a low-information waste of skin (probably because he is).

Unfortunately the MSNBC management feel they need douche-nozzle Joe to provide the fascist POV for balance with Keith and Rachel. I've lost all interest in the fascist POV. I don't know how those people can keep up the hate level necessary to believe the outright lies they espouse. Their view of reality is so distorted as to be unrecognizable. Their overall outlook is very sad.

MSNBC dug up the dumbest jerk they could find to compete against the the three stooges over on fox. Remember the "banjo boy" from Deliverance? Joe's about that petulant and dumb.
