The federal government spends large sums of money!
Quickly, Republicans, spend large sums of money putting this earth-shattering message into a television commercial. Go!
(Don't tell Mitch McConnell, but Iraq has cost Americans almost a trillion dollars, too. Then again, redistributing the wealth to Iraq is patriotic. Redistributing it to Florida, California and Arizona is anti-American!)

They left out part of the story. The money may go to the wrong people. What this says is "We don't want the money to go to you. We want the money to go to us." And that is it.

Once again we have a ready made series of ads we could be running constantly from now on.
What do Republicans stand for? They say it's patriotic to spend a trillion dollars on Iraq but unamerican to spend money on Americans. They say they believe in tax cuts and yet they voted against the largest tax cut in our history. They say they believe in free markets and yet top Republicans agree that nationalizing banks is a good idea. It seems Republicans not only oppose Democrats, but they oppose Republicans and Americans too.
