Well I guess we should be glad it wasn't the Boston Salad Party. Could you see the signs then?
"Toss the Democrats Salad before they toss yours"

Stop, President Obama! For the love of God (Thor), STOP!!!

OMG..well take a look at this. Right here in Greenville, SC.
"Carl Schmidt carried a sign that read, "Liberals and Government are killing America and its people," and he said, "I think we need to sit back and think what is needed."
He said he and a friend planned to go to a similar protest in Atlanta on Saturday.
Christine Enoch said she was a missionary who has been working in Africa since 1987. "I’m here because of God," she said. "If the nation would go back to God, he’ll bless (us)."
Jeff Collins said America needs to return to its conservative roots in order to pull out of its economic downturn.
He said he blamed people like Sen. Lindsey Graham, who he said is "too liberal," and that he supports Sen. Jim DeMint. "We know both parties are at fault," he said.
Collins spoke while standing on the Main Street bridge, looking down at the big crowd below. "What we’re proposing here is a revolution," he said" (photos at the link. Greenville's population is 34% African American, and this took place in a predominantly AA part of town. I didn't see any AA's in these photos...I'll bet it was more than a little intimidating).

Thanks Carlos. I learn something new from you everyday.
Posted by: cminri at February 28, 2009 10:27 AM
That doesn't really look like that big of a crowd in the photo, Ady. Maybe 150 at most?
Posted by: Alan4s at February 28, 2009 10:37 AM
They have tea leaves for brains.
Don't you just love that after 8 years of loving the GOP, Bush and his neocons, that now they see the chickens coming home to roost.
BUT it's not really the republicans fault according to them -- it's both parties. So see? What they really mean is it's really ALL the fault of the democrats.
And they think they are the party of individual responsibility.

"Toss the Democrats Salad before they toss yours"
That is damn funny.

@skiba-
>>>Communism is Socialism with a gun to your head (stolen tagline, thanks). Juggling the census like they are, that's a gun to our heads.
That was my favorite part. What a bizarre rant! Oh and right, that's the difference between communism and socialism. That and something about workers control the means of production, or whatever? And how in anyone's world is 'juggling the census' the equivalent of a gun to the head?
"Please don't hurt me mister!"
*click*
"I'm no gonna hurt you... I'm gonna gerrymander your district"
*gulp*

I'm pretty sure that's a kid... be nice.
Even worse then, given what "teabagging" is.

Even worse then, given what "teabagging" is.
Right. This kid has enough working against him already - no need to question his sexual identity on top of it, right? Won't somebody think about the children?!?
Posted by: strategery at February 28, 2009 12:07 PM
lmao
I wonder if that that dumbass even realizes what his sign means.
Posted by: J M Ashby at February 28, 2009 12:12 PM
Hell, the signs were already stupid enough when they just said "freerepublic.com" on them -- were the extra words really necessary to compound teh stupid?
Posted by: Kyle W. at February 28, 2009 12:17 PM
Choosy wingnut revolutionaries prefer Cleveland Steamers..........
Posted by: Curly Lasagna at February 28, 2009 12:30 PM
I'm curious to know why they chose to keep the word "the" in lower case. And the sign behind that one, the "and" is in lower case. I'm curious as to why. All caps is a misspelling of every word so why choose some left-field grammatical reference point in the middle of such a clusterfuck. In addition to that, the two exclamation points get on my nerves. By nature, only one is needed.
I wonder if they have any idea what they're protesting or if they just hate Democrats.
Posted by: camel54 at February 28, 2009 12:34 PM
standing up for a "kid" (which happens to look one pack of cigarettes and a shot of whiskey away from becoming keith richards) holding a "teabag them before they teabag you" sign?! awesome!
Posted by: gypsy at February 28, 2009 12:37 PM
Calling a kid "a pat"? Teh awesomer!!1!
Posted by: strategery at February 28, 2009 12:40 PM
I like the guy on the right with the plastic flower pot on his head. Is Devo making a comeback?
Posted by: Curly Lasagna at February 28, 2009 12:44 PM
i am so sorry to call this he/she/kid/adult mentally stunted being pat! really! i soooo mean it!
Posted by: gypsy at February 28, 2009 12:46 PM

That bugged me too.
Posted by: idreamofskiba at February 28, 2009 12:49 PM
Signs-r-us charges more for ALL CAPS, so the tea-baggers really snuck one over on them with the "and" and "the". Or maybe they're just stupid.
Posted by: Alan4s at February 28, 2009 12:55 PM
To paraphrase Inigo Montoya from The Princess Bride: I don't think it means what he thinks it means.

Alternate Headline:
Ultra Creepy Freepers Invade Meatspace: But their mantra is the same old shite.
Curly -
Devo wore red hats. I think the white plastic hat is the not-so-subtle white hood replacement. He must be the Grand Wazoo of that herd of ignorance.
Posted by: SillyGit at February 28, 2009 1:15 PM
Silly, I know. But Devo jumped into my mind because, until now, they were the only organization I knew of that wore plastic planters on their heads.
Further more, I apologize for slurring Devo by comparing them to these bozos............
Posted by: Curly Lasagna at February 28, 2009 1:22 PM
But they do look like they "whip it good" every chance they get.......
Posted by: Curly Lasagna at February 28, 2009 1:33 PM
There's a good reason for the tea.
Posted by: Kyle W. at February 28, 2009 1:38 PM
On a Devo note: they're energy domes, not hats.
Just sayin'.
Posted by: Kyle W. at February 28, 2009 1:41 PM
Kyle...you have to stop trying to talk dirty to me on twitter....lol
Posted by: Annette at February 28, 2009 2:02 PM
You started it!
Posted by: Kyle W. at February 28, 2009 2:02 PM
lol I was merely commenting on your excitement to Rick Sanchez
Posted by: Annette at February 28, 2009 2:09 PM
I just spit orange juice at my screen.
I REALLY don't think the parents of that kid are aware of the implications of that sign he's holding.
Clue-less.
Posted by: incredulous72 at February 28, 2009 2:16 PM
Kyle, your sign refresh was so funny, I nearly spilled my coffee on my laptop.
Wait until that poor child shows up at school Monday with a new nickname 'DemTeaBagger'. By the end of recess he'll know exactly what it means.
Posted by: bjritz at February 28, 2009 2:40 PM

Posted by: bibimimi at February 28, 2009 2:57 PM

Posted by: gypsy at February 28, 2009 3:18 PM
ok, so my friend just explained to me the pink balloons...
Posted by: gypsy at February 28, 2009 3:22 PM
holy shit! I almost choked! That is so awesome!
Posted by: natasha at February 28, 2009 3:31 PM
can you 'splain the pink baloons to me gypsy? I don't get it.
Posted by: Alan4s at February 28, 2009 3:59 PM
alan, my friend said they were probably referring to the "pinko commie" thing. then i laughed at him for understanding their mindset! ;)
Posted by: gypsy at February 28, 2009 4:18 PM
pinko commies - yeah, so obvious, duh! and so stupid...
Posted by: Alan4s at February 28, 2009 5:53 PM
They have no clue how idiotic they are.
Clue-less
People - They are freepers. Calling them clueless, Ignorant and idiotic is heavily redundant. Freeper implies the rest.
Curly -
I was just busten em. It looked Devoish to me too, but then the fact that it was white hit me.
I still say that he's the Grand Wazoo of that herd of ignorence.
I'm proud to be a fucking pinko commie bastard.
Posted by: SillyGit at February 28, 2009 7:57 PM
Fuck The Republicans...They've already fucked You.
Posted by: dswagz at February 28, 2009 8:48 PM
Wow! Not that long ago the Repubes were America. The majority of Americans supported them. Normal people were a part of this group. Is this all that's left? Looks like everybody got tired of getting fucked and the only ones left are either the fuckers, or the people who like getting fucked.
Posted by: emsique at February 28, 2009 10:52 PM
