Bears
While media figures and outlets continue to use the term "Obama bear market" to refer to the 20 percent drop in the stock market since President Obama's inauguration, a Media Matters for America search of the Nexis and Factiva databases* for the term "Bush bear market" found no uses of that phrase from the end of 2005 through the end of his presidency, despite there having been a second bear market.
And if the market begins to recover? As CNBC spazzy white guy Mark Haines said on Morning Joe today: "The market is going up because it's done going down."
Smart! And consistent!

and so thats where we're at right now.
in six months or a year from now if the economy has improved-significantly or otherwise,republicans-with endless echoes from the "liberal" msm,will tell us that it would have happened regardless and now we wasted all that money on worthless stimulus.
and of course if at that time things arent going along beautifully,we'll be told that the president and all his policies have failed.
after eight years of absolute failure and destruction and criminally negligible politics,this president is being held to unheard of standards.

Oh of course. You can see it coming a mile away, because unlike people who wait and look at 'facts' and 'evidence,' Republicans decide ahead of time what will happen and stick to it for as long as humanly possible before letting go...even though they themselves made it up. See: WMDs in Iraq, Mission Accomplished, and so on.
Hopefully Mr. The Presidential Obama™ will have some facts and figures on the recovery package.
(May I take a moment to say that I wish we were still calling it the Stimulus Package cos I'm immature like that?)
