The Best of Limbaugh
Media Matters takes a trip down Fat Bastard Lane. Some highlights:
When Carol Moseley-Braun (D-IL) was in the U.S. Senate, the first black woman ever elected to that body, Limbaugh would play the 'Movin' On Up' theme song from TV's 'Jeffersons' when he mentioned her.
Following the disclosure of detainee abuse at Abu Ghraib, Limbaugh claimed in 2004 that the U.S. military personnel involved were just "having a good time," and that their actions served as an "emotional release."
On August 23, 2006, discussing the CBS reality TV program, Survivor, in which contestants were originally divided into competing "tribes" by ethnicity, Limbaugh stated that the contest was "not going to be fair if there's a lot of water events" and suggested that "blacks can't swim."
The leader of the very serious Republican Party.

This guy's using racist stereotypes I had no idea even existed. I'm not sure if I should be proud for not knowing them or horrified that he does.
At any rate, I can't tell if the Republicans are dumb enough to think that he's helping, or just trapped enough to know they can't call him out on his crap. Either way, it'll probably be another two elections before they finally realize that writing him off is worth the risk.

I can't verify if this list is true, I was expecting to see these quotes on the media matters list, but if it is, here's all the proof we need that he's an unapologetic racist.

To be fair, he apologized to the black Survivor contestants by sending them a pie basket and a case of grape soda. Which he then apologized for with a watermelon basket and some orange soda. And then...aaaaah I'm just kidding. He would never apologize!
