The swine media is not our benefactor. What about this is so hard to understand?
I can anticipate just where this story is going. See, the Republicon assholes running (and ruining) the cable "news" studios didn't get any real traction with the "Obama's Senate Seat" narrative that just so happened to feature the buffoon, Blagojevich, and special guest, Burris, so they've now moved on to something shifting their collective faux umbrage at AIG. They do this in order to coach the public to turn on the Obama administration.
There's a reason why Cheney appeared on that asshole's show on Sunday. There's a reason why Cramer began hollering about Lenin. There's even a reason why Stewart lambasted the conduct of the sycophants at CNBC. That reason is to coach us into depending on them all again after they themselves have failed us so many times.
Like the Gil Scott-Heron said, the revolution will not be televised, because the media elitist swine will be too busy getting grilled the day that shit happens.
Do any of you not understand that the corporate media IS the biggest blight this nation? Not the self-aggrandizing money-grubbers, not the thuggish rappers, not the monstrous pedophiles, not the dubious politicians, or the malcontent, homicidal attention-seekers shooting up public places - IT'S THE DAMNED CORPORATE MEDIA VULTURES CONTINUING TO COACH US INTO COMPLACENCY THAT ARE DESTROYING AMERICA AS WE KNOW IT.
At this point, they're encouraging us to bark at one another. I don't even believe they believe that they're Americans anymore.
These so-called "journalists" think they are STARS! Attitude-wise, they are ten times worse than any Hollywood brat. See, they are apart of the information apparatus, so they believe themselves to be untouchable. Are they right? ARE THEY?

Am I reading right, or is Matthews on MSNBC right this minute implying that Obama is protecting the AIG folks because they contributed to his campaign or something?
I'm reading about this on another blog. If it's true, someone needs to get on this real quick. I mean, seriously, these goddamned media people have got to be called out on their protecting Bush and his cronies' asses.
What, Matthews gets into a little tiff with Ari "Lemon Salesman" Fliesher and we're supposed to think he's above sabotaging Obama? Shit, his little rhetorical games did Harold Ford in in the same manner when he obsessed on why the "Harold, Call me!" ad was being used. Matthews is way past due for a check up from the neck up. Enough with his bullshit!
We need to start discussing who the fuck is supplying these people with these disingenuous talking points, 'cuz this shit is past ridiculous at this point.

Lee. Thank you. Outstanding article!
One correction: it's Rick Santelli.
We need to keep beating the drum that foreclosures did not cause the republican recession, they were a symptom.
You did a much better job than I could have. You covered the important parts and yet kept it simple.
I would have gotten bogged down in details.

Careful Lee, Jeff Zucker from NBC might start insanely ranting about you too.
