60 Right Wing Plots Thwarted
Back in 2005, US News & World Report wrote:
In the 10 years since the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing killed 168 people, roughly 60 right-wing terrorist plots have been uncovered in the United States, according to an upcoming report by the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project. The plots, all foiled by law enforcement, reportedly included violent plans by antigovernment militia groups, racist skinhead organizations, and Ku Klux Klan members to use various types of chemical bombs and other weapons.
Shouldn't Malkin and her tea bagging friends be cheering efforts like this?

Bob,
The SPLC has been reporting for a few years about how the demands on military recruitment have resulted in recruiting actual skinheads and such trash!
One question I always ask the 9-11 fear mongers is, "what was the second most deadly terrorist attack on our homeland, and who were the perps, and why did they do it"?
Waco Texas come to mind??????????
Now Beck, Norris, and crowd are suggesting that Texas actually secede. I say let 'em! Fuck 'em!

I'm not sure if there was some snark in that comment...but the OKC bombing was the deadliest until 9/11.

Bob, you keep trying to apply rational thinking to wingnuts. They're immune to rational thought. To them, if you're not a hard rightie, you're part of a fifth column out to destroy their way of life. If you're part of the hard core right wing, then you're always a victim of evil liberal plots. Their minds are simply not big enough to contain any other other thought. Anything else just sails over their heads.

jjasonham,
What "snark"? It's fact!

I live about 25 miles from where Terry Nichols lived at the time the crime was perpetrated!

Sorry for the Faux news hit, but I wanted to show that it was NOT just some lefty BS!
Super - duper bonus! I'm related to Nichols by divorce! No shit! My second ex-wife married his brother!
I wish I had Elvis' gift for story telling! I could turn those facts into some really good shit!
And I haven't even gotten into the ex's previous boyfriend trying to knife me once and the gun fight at Conestoga Park! Gore hadn't "created" the Internet yet at the time so you'll have to trust me or request records from the Cheyenne County Attorneys Office in Nebraska.
No snark at all! Just experience and history!
These wingnuts are getting dangerous!

@ kansasdem
Not sure that's the sort of thing one puts on their resume:
"My second ex-wife married into the family of one of the worst domestic terrorists ever!"
I mean...I'm sure you're a decent fellow (perhaps not militant enough to keep those home fires burning...or nuts enough to satisfy a freaky nutbar...I don't want to pry, you understand)...
Seems sort of like saying, "My second cousin is James Earl Ray!"
I'm not sure you want to attend any parties where that gets you in the door and a free drink,

Hey Kansas, your MO bro here in KC. I see some taint in the that relationship, but not exactly palling around.
I have a notorious family connection as well, my brother is a teamsters union agent and I'm sure there is a book in there someplace as well.
