Fox News Fail
Cavuto on FOX News Channel coverage of protests:
"We were there for the Million Man March, even though, as I pointed out, it turned out to be well shy of a million men."
As Jane points out, FOX News Channel didn't exist when the Million Man March took place.
And naturally Cavuto had to point out that it wasn't exactly a million men. Because the white tea baggers will be much more awesome.

"Fox News Fail." Kinda redundant, isn't it?

Department of Redundancy Department.
They not only fix breaking news, they fix old news also too, you betcha.
Hmmm. Fictional News Channel. A subsidiary of SNooze Corp.

Inconsistent, lies and denies.
Fox News in a nutshell

Fox News is sort of like the aftermath of a head-on collision between Jerry Springer, Dr. Phil, and American Idol.
A lot of sound and fury, signifying nothing.

@Git - Heads up. I posted a reply to your last post in the Saturday Night PTT, but it's apparently being held up in moderation because of the multiple URLs I had in it, so keep an eye out for it later.
Here's just one to whet your appetite (re: Markov chains in some Palin random generators, which I am not at all familiar with, nor most of what you were talking about in terms of programming in the prior post, but I remembered this from when I was searching for the link I posted last night and thought you might be interested in checking it out):

When Bill O'Reilly was on David Letterman's late show 03/31/09 and stated that he worked his way up to Fox News, Letterman laughed at him and said "does working your way up really apply to Fox News".
Fox News is truly the bottom of the barrel along with the tabloid rags.

Thanks again IC.
It may be math to you, but that's OK, i grok math.
Markov chains is *exactly* what I had in mind. I didn't call it that and instead described one way to implement such a thing.
Why am I not surprised that others were thinking like I was? The Palinator word salad is fascinating to technogeeks. She speaks like a highly fucked up AI. Sad really.
TY again for the links.

Cavuto's just reading off Ailes's memorandum: "Who controls the past, controls the future. Who controls the present, controls the past. This is the new past, and no other past exists until we invent a new one, in which case this past will also no longer exist."

You're very welcome, Git. Hah, "speaks like a highly fucked up AI," indeed. Yes, it is ultimately sad, but that made me snort anyway, hee.

Alright, this post about FNC gave me a good, hearty laugh.
As angry as I get at these imbeciles and their shenanigans, someone catching them in a good lie is always amusing.
Extra points on catching the latent bigoted remark about the MMM not living up to expectations. The fact that they're mentioning it and anti-war protests, one can infer that they feel this whole "tea party" bullshit is decidedly Republicon and an absolute waste of time for all involved.
