Clean Coal Fakery

Something's been bothering me about that American Coalition for Clean Coal commercial that runs all the time on cable news. You've probably seen it. It's a clip of the president (then senator) during the campaign praising clean coal technology.

Naturally, President Obama's apparent support for clean coal bothers me. But the other thing that's been bothering me is the "yes we can" chanting in the background. Here's the commercial:

It sounds like the audience is chanting that "yes we can (make clean coal)!"

The thing is, in the actual clip there's no chanting. Just some applause. Tell me if you hear any wild chants of "yes we can" in this:

So the clean coal people inserted the sound of "yes we can" chanting from some other piece of video in order to make it seem like everyone is super enthusiastic about the idea. Go figure that the clean coal people would deliberately deceive the public.
