Drooooopeee!

Yesterday:

HARRY REID: I’m saying that the United States Senate, Democrats and Republicans, do not want terrorists to be released in the United States. That’s very clear.

QUESTION: No one’s talking about releasing them. We’re talking about putting them in prison somewhere in the United States.

HARRY REID: Can’t put them in prison unless you release them.

Release them?! What?!

Adding... Some good news:

Nearly half of Nevadans have had enough of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid as the powerful Democrat heads into his re-election campaign, a new Las Vegas Review-Journal poll finds.

Adding 2... Just for fun, Harry Reid's fantasy:

"You know what? I'm the hero."

Well, maybe the terrorists can use Harry Reid's place as a kind of halfway house until more suitable lodgings are appropriated for them.

Is there a Dem to challenge him?

Maybe Joseph Smith also found a gold plate from the angel Moroni (a play on moron...his little but obvious joke on his followers) saying it is ok to transfer thine enemies to Levenworth. Something for Harry to think about.

So, how did they get to Gitmo? Were they first released from detention at wherever they were first captured? Then recaptured and brought to Gitmo?

What's his problem? Oh yeah. Midterms.

Why do we have a Republican as Senate Majority Leader? I've had it with Reid (R-Nev).

Posted by: eve at May 20, 2009 10:35 AM

I'd be happy to have another republican defeat Reid if it means someone like Russ Feingold could take over as Majority Leader. Any way to start a grassroots movement on that?

Eve- I think Harry Reid is (D- Nev). The D is for dumbass.

Really though... How stupid is he? Hey look, Harry, the Republicans are offering up a false argument! Better take the bait and look like a total puss trying to look tough, like you always do. Cos some people are capable of learning, and not falling for the same stupid crap every single time. But not you, Harry. You're consistent. Now if you'll excuse me I need to bang my head against the table until the crap you say makes sense.

Godammit, enough is enough of these fucking wastes of space. Anybody know where I sign up to pledge my time and money to get Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi the fuck out of their leadership positions? Completely useless, the both of them.

What an enormous dumb-fuck. How can anyone that stupid possibly EVER be elected to public office (oh wait..I forgot about Palin, Bachman, Steele, etc., etc., etc.)? The questioner must have felt like he/she was caught up in a game of "who's on first?" Either that or dealing with Nigel Tufnel - "these go to 11."

So we have to release them.... to inprison them?

Huh??

Funny video, but I think Droopy Dog = Joe Lieberman

Everytime Lieberman speaks I am reminded of Droopy Dog in Roger Rabbit: "your flooor sirr" "have a nice day sirrr"

Reid, like so many others, has allowed the gloom and doom around every corner/fear mongering sect to frame the discussion. Rather than confront their stupid with facts, they pile on and attempt to prove they're just as tough - or tougher.

Spineless sacks of dog mess (/salute Whoopee).

Harry 'I lost my cojones playing craps in Vegas' Reid is the worst majority leader ever. I don't think he can lead himself out of a broom closet.

Feingold would be a stellar improvement.

I just emailed Senator Reid for clarification of his remarks. Thank you, Bob for supplying the hard facts. Here is a copy of that email:

Dear Senator Reid,

I have a couple of little questions concerning your responses during yesterday's press conference.

REID: I'm saying that the United States Senate, Democrats and Republicans, do not want terrorists to be released in the United States. That's very clear.
QUESTION: No one's talking about releasing them. We're talking about putting them in prison somewhere in the United States.

REID: Can't put them in prison unless you release them.

QUESTION: Sir, are you going to clarify that a little bit? ...

REID: I can't make it any more clear than the statement I have given to you. We will never allow terrorists to be released in the United States.

Forgive me Senator, but like your questioner, I have no idea what you're talking about, but as a citizen and Democrat (and you being our Senate Majority Leader) Id like to know more.

So here are my questions:

1. Why exactly would the detainees be running free? Is that what you do with your felons in Utah? If so, I'm canceling my trip to Bryce Canyon.

2. NO one has ever escaped from a Supermax prison. Do these prisoners assume super powers when removed from Cuban sand (like Superman after he left Krypton)?

3. Zacarias Moussaoui has been incarcerated in a Colorado Supermax since 2006. Has that State been destroyed? We don't get much news from out West around here.

4. Nearly a half million enemy soldiers were detained in 400 low-security US prisons during WWII - Nazis all over the place! Did they escape and take over Utah?
"First Poland - then Provo?"
Here's an idea: What if we spread the 241 detainees throughout the same 400 prisons? We'd end up with just .6 detainees in each prison - not nearly enough to run very fast.

5. Are you afraid that these detainees have nuclear weapons hidden up their rectums? "Rectum! Damn near killed um!"
Sorry - I miss Vaudeville.

6. Are you feeling okay? Nightmares? Headaches? Bedwetting?... Right Wing Republican delusions?
Take 2 aspirin - and consider retirement.
