It's quiet. Too quiet. This is where Jar Jar Binks falls out of a tree and lands at your feet causing to want to commit homicide against George Lucas.

If a lberal blog has few participants, and no one is around to read it, does it make a sound?

if anyone is interested The National Geographic Network is deconstructing the events leading up to 9/11

In America. My America. Where Republicans are cowards who say things like "Give me Liberty, or keep me safe." "There's a terrorist behind every tree, so we need to cut down all the trees." "It's not torture, it's enhanced extraction of false intelligence." "Drill, baby, Drill!" "The fundamentals of the economy are still strong" "Bend over so my corporate overlords can fuck you some more."
We start a "War on Terror" and immediately shift to a war on nail clippers, pocket knives, and cigarette lighters. Then we do the totally irrational war on liquids.
I'm still waiting for the WMDs to be found and for Osama bin Laden to be brought to justice. I'm glad I didn't hold my breath. Do the wrong wingers not see why I can't take them seriously? They supported all of this nonsense. Why would I trust their judgment on anything after this track record.

Thanks Vera. I'm watching now. Fortunately my cableco has a start from beginning capability.

What is an "lberal" blog?
Or is that supposed to be "Iberal"?
Is "Iberal" related to "Iberian"?
Is an "Iberal" blog in Catalan, Basque, Portuguese, or Spanish?

If a man speak and no one hears, is he still wrong?
Posted by: ceu at May 24, 2009 9:12 PM
Ceu, heh.
Posted by: jane at May 24, 2009 9:30 PM
If no one hears it, does it mean they're all deaf, dumb, blind and born to follow?

deaf, dumb and blind kid--sure plays a mean pinball

This Nat Geo program is pretty good.
If Lush Rimjob dies will he stop making noise?
If you put Cheney, Gingrich, and Limbaugh all into one train, do they rename it to the Liars' Express?
Posted by: ∇•B=0 Silly Ratfaced Git ∇•D=ρ at May 24, 2009 9:50 PM
I hadn't seen the first show Git, i agree it was good. I have seen the one on now. They showed it on 9/11 last year.
The train would be green, they will provide the gas. Sorry, I know that one was obvious but I couldn't help it.

Thanks for the smile, Matt. :)

Hey Git, Thanks for your answer in the earlier thread. I was wanting your opinion. Vera gave me hers and Ghost gave his, however I really wanted to see what your take was because I knew you had watched the movie and probably heard what I did.

I think I be an Iberal separatist.
Maybe it's just that I like goat cheese.
Posted by: ∇•B=0 Silly Ratfaced Git ∇•D=ρ at May 24, 2009 10:18 PM
The hardest part, for me, when watching something about 9/11 is to hear the chirping. I can't stand that part. Bastards. (the people who flew the planes, not the firefighters)

Annette -
Thank you for posting that video. I hadn't seen it before.
That part jumped out at me. I hadn't heard about that nasty bit of legislation before. We may need to make more people aware of it.
Posted by: ∇•B=0 Silly Ratfaced Git ∇•D=ρ at May 24, 2009 11:06 PM
Yeah I hadn't either.. It really got my attention. That's why I wanted another opinion.. Maybe tomorrow or Tuesday when everyone is back might be a better time to ask about it.
Posted by: Annette at May 24, 2009 11:17 PM
Vera, you're a genius.
Posted by: Matt Osborne at May 25, 2009 12:51 AM
Git, what kind of Iberian separatist are you? the Anarcho-syndicalist front, the PPLoI (People's Popular Liberation of Iberia), the PFLI (Popular Front for the Liberation of Iberia), or the Stone Soupers?
And does that remind you of any particular scene in Life of Brian?
Posted by: Matt Osborne at May 25, 2009 12:57 AM
I think so too Matt, thanks for seeing it too ;)
Posted by: veralynn at May 25, 2009 1:51 AM
I was kinda hoping you would come back and tell me how I am a genius.
good night every one and anyone who is still here.
