Personally, I hope the wingnuts roar about this one all weekend, because the sight of an American president poking fun at his own big ears is incredibly funny and humanizing.

The right-wing Obama-haters will shriek about how "narcissistic" he is, seeing himself everywhere.
Most ordinary people will agree with Obama: the hieroglyphic DOES look like him, and they'll be disarmed by Obama's self-deprecatory humor. Quite the opposite of narcissism.
The more the right-wing pricks howl about dijon mustard and date nights in NYC and stuff like this, the more they sink themselves deeper into the quicksand. The American people LIKE Obama. They want him to succeed. They approve of the job he's doing. The nay-sayers only make themselves look more and more foolish, peevish, and bitter.
