Very Serious
Here's MSNBC's Kindly Old Grampy character telling viewers that the climate crisis is a hoax leading to a world government.
The "liberal network" continues to host this crackpot for some reason. At what point does "completely fucking insane" trump the ridiculous notion of balance? In other words, some views are just plain awful and the news media has a responsibility to weed those out -- not give them equal time.

Oh yeah! Trust the private sector!
Who's Pat Roberts calling on here:
"They have a powerful ally in Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Kan., who is prepared to file a bill in Congress if the Environmental Protection Agency won't spend stimulus money to buy out Treece."

Here's a douche bag that voted against the stimulus - now demanding how it be spent, and BTW my small town has gained big time with funding for two new roads into town, and several summer jobs that would have been otherwise cut from the budget!
And nearly all Republican'ts are still in someway denying the human element in global warming!
Effing unbelievable!

The human element doesn't effect their bottom line. Until it does, they wont care.

Why does MSNBC keep Buchanan on?
Easy. Because they, like every other media organization, have misconstrued the word 'objective' to mean presenting both sides of an issue instead of showing the truth, which has led to their obsession with creating a 'balance' by having right-wing nuts like Pat on to spew their bile, lie and generally talk over the liberals (with the honorable exception of Rachel, who hands Pat's ass to him day after day).
That's the problem with today's hackery-ridden media, in a nutshell.

I agree with Skippy. The media believes they have to show both "sides", even when one side has all the scientific data supporting it and the other only has crackpots.
