Ryan, Paul (R-WI) $69,000
Tanner, John (D-TN) $68,500
Of note here is Senator Baucus who is the chairman of the Finance Committee -- one of the two Senate committees dealing with healthcare reform right now.
Anything you hear from these lawmakers about healthcare reform has to be filtered through the prism that they've been bribed by the health insurance mafia.

Roy Blunt is owned by lobbyists, mainly his wife and sons. Always has been and always will be.
John Tanner, was the name I saw today who said he had been FOR the public option and now had changed his mind and would not support it any more.
Kay Hagan is still on the fence last I knew..

Notable for his absense is Sen. Chris Dodd (D-CT) who represents the state with more insurance company world headquarters than any other. I am certain that Sen. Dodd took money from the insurance industry. It would be impossible for him not to. The fact he is not in the top 10 is rather surprising. I know that Sen. Dodd receives large contributions from a very long list of labor unions and does not need so much from the insurance cartel. I think his current situation in CT is a dirty trick campaign designed to neuter him on the health care issue.

I am surprised Burr isn't on that list either. I would have bet he would've been in the top 10.
I emailed Hagan today, I will call again tomorrow. I sent her something about SCOTUS a few weeks ago and just about an hour ago got a reply concerning SCOTUS.
I will call again tomorrow. I won't even bother with Burr, he will do what McConnell tells him to do.

Edolphus Towns is my rep. I sent him an e-mail earlier before seeing this list.

If you go through the entire list.. actually Hillary Clinton beats McCain..by a pretty good margin.. She has 376,661 to his 251,834.
I looked through the list 2 times and couldn't find Pres. Obama on it anywhere.

I posted this on Bob's Searching for a Spine blog but, wanted to post it here as well. Here is a list of the "Blue Dog Douche Bags" I found this on the dailykos back in march. I'm assuming these totals represent what they taken over the course of their careers because many seem to be large amounts.
FROM THE DAILY KOS
We have to preemptively contact this group, and make clear that if they obstruct Health Care Reform in particular and Obama's agenda in general there will be consequences. Personally I promise to not only not contribute and promote opponents in primaries, but to campaign for third party candidates as retaliation to any obstruction or watering down the public option in Health Care Reform. For me that's a line that if it is crossed you are not just a conservadem but taking a right from me and my children and by denying Health coverage you are close to crimes against humanity.
Call their offices and email them making clear that Health Care reform is a deal breaker and that you will support the opposition in any election they go to if the block or obstruct HealthCare reform.

On second thought, I like the career numbers. It really stands out and makes a loud noise if you will. It would also make for great commercials. Knowing your Senator or Congressmen are WHORES for the insurance companies is one thing. Seeing theses large amounts shows a pattern. Let's kick their asses with phone calls and emails!
