Denied
The wingnuttiest radio corporation passed on the Sarah Palin Show.
According to Broadcasting & Cable, Clear Channel Broadcasting, the country’s biggest radio conglomerate, has already turned Palin down because of fears that she wouldn’t be able to “hold forth for three hours a day.”
And here's me:

And it really isn't three hours with all of the ads.

Perhaps Clear Channel could have Bill Shatner do an interpretive rendition of her babbling (sort of like Garrett Morris did for the "hearing impaired" on the old SNL).

Poor Sarah! Guess she'll have to make her money the old-fashioned way: by whoring herself to corporate America.
Seriously, though: I have this fantasy that Palin will wind up poor and destitute and discover her inner liberal in the process.

It's all for the best. She probably would have quit after the 2nd hour anyway.

I don't think Clear Channel really believes that Sarah Palin couldn't ramble on radio 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, I think they know that America couldn't handle listening to her for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week without going into one giant epileptic seizure.

Sorry, I hit "post" when I meant to hit "preview" on my previous post.
Anyway, I mean would Clear Channel really want to be held accountable for all of the exploding heads surely to be caused by Palin's stupidity, annoying accent and nonsensical, neuron twisting, expeditions into illogical terrain?

Bob, you really shouldn't smoke cigars in a movie theater.
Clear Channel may be evil, but they're not stupid. Radio wingnuts may spew vile garbage day after day, but at least they do it in intelligible English. Three hours of Sarah Palin's incoherent babbling would test the patience of everyone but her most rabid fans. Fingernails on a blackboard.

From Sarah's Facebook page tonight:
Release Concerning Simi Valley Republican Women’s Event
Today at 4:32pm
As repeatedly stated to several in the media over the last week, former Governor Sarah Palin is not committed to attend the Simi Valley Republican Women’s event at the Reagan Library and in fact is not attending the event. Neither the Governor’s state staff nor SarahPAC has ever committed to attending this event or speaking at this event, and even requested that the Governor's name be removed from the invitation several weeks ago. The Governor has other work and commitments to take care of at that time. She looks forward to visiting her friends in California soon.
All event requests must be confirmed with Meghan Stapleton of SarahPAC. Additionally, all invitations bearing the Governor’s name must be approved by her attorney before proceeding.
Thank you.
Meghan Stapleton
