The Storm Off
Okay, we're getting our first indication of what happened. It seems like a colossal sulk on Palin's part, or perhaps better to say an effort on her part to ingeniously combine anti-liberal media bias agitation with Christianist politics by portraying herself as having been crucified by the liberal media.
You know what this is? This is like every discussion board you've ever participated in. She's just like that forum/newsgroup regular who gets flamed and then does a GBCW (goodbye cruel world) speech and storms off -- believing that people will miss her and beg for her to return. It never turns out that way, and everyone else moves on.
She's insane.

Max Blumenthal has a piece up at Daily Beast..or is supposed to have.. I haven't read it.. according to Think Progress it is up, and talks about the Sports Complex she had built in Wasilla, it put the city in debt and there was talk then of her using materials from there to build her house.
This has been brewing since then.. This could possibly be part of it, or even all of it. That is a 2.5 million dollar house. The labor and materials were all charged back to the city. She also passed ordinances to get the permits waived for the complex and her home while she was mayor.

No she did it because of me!!! I blogged today begging her to be the nominee in 2012 and she just had to do it to upset me. I never knew I had such power.

Whoa. Good going, Intox. And here I thought maybe she thought it was the only way to get the media spotlight off Michael Jackson still being dead & back on her...
