Communists Everywhere!

Once again, Glenn Beck goes full Joe McCarthy. Blowing his crazy whistle on alleged "communists" in the White House.

To repeat: Everyone knows you never go full Joe McCarthy.

Ok, so anybody else think he's playing this Rachelesque "connect the communist plot dots" with the inevitable climax being him bursting into tears and whimpering out a plea for his viewers to strike back at the advertisers/man-behind-the-boycott-curtain?

I really think this is all about him, but he wants his viewers to believe he's thinking only of them and our Democracy, and the legacy of Thomas Paine, too. He's been slapped down for his ridiculousness and his only response is more ridiculousness.

I bet he was a real treat to deal with in kindergarten.

This is a real quandary for my favourite cable news political commentator.

Either A) Capitalism is just and punishes the dumb (major corporations reacting morally correctly to the market by pulling ads from his show)or B) Capitalism is not just and the corporations acting in their profit motivated interest are unjust.

This is going to be exciting.

That's nothin'!

They're changing the cable line-up here and when I got to 28, which should be History, it was effing faux noise!

I may have to drink some toilet cleaner!

At what point does Beck's obvious reaching for straws become self-evident to Roger Ailes?

Ooh! The Rev. Wright card 15 second in! "I'm not a mathemetician but I am a thinker." Good Lord...

For the uninitiated, Bob is referencing a Robert Downey, Jr., line from this scene in Tropic Thunder.
