The sad part is that so many seniors are like that. I hear the residents in my grandma's building bitching "socialized this, socialized that". The bad part is that they live in government housing and are all on medicare/medicaid. I have to bite my tongue to not say "so when you moving out and paying for your own place and your own medicine?"

That piece by Alter is the best thing that has been written about the health-care situation.
Hopefully many people will read it who are just not understanding what is actually happening and see the light!
It is so short, so easy to read and about impossible to misunderstand!
