I'm getting pretty tired of stupidity (see USS Constitution) and craziness creating the framework for our policy discourse. The lies are bad enough, but the stupidity of loud-mouth citizens and the complete insanity of people like Beck are inexcusable. I say inexcusable because this nonsense is not only permitted, but it is propagated by media.

I don't watch Beck and I don't read Drudge because they are lying whack jobs. So why do I have to be exposed to their insanity through what should be legitimate news sources? We waste so much time while people lose everything...oh, including their lives...while we debunk death panels.

How have we become a country where a political party can clearly say they are for nothing other than stopping the reform of health care and people suffering from the abuses of our current system applaud them and vote for them? I find myself tuning out more and more each day.

I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me Old Glory™ or give me Death!
