Quote of the Day
“You’ve got to make decisions based on information and not emotions.” —President Obama
I'm thankful for this, too.
Adding... In classic fashion, the right is trying to suggest that the president is engaging in a "war against reason." This from the same group that operates in a fantasy world in which communists and Nazis are interchangeable, and people like Sarah Palin are qualified to be president.

Frankly, I think it's an egregious insult to the blogosphere the way Cesca dithers over posts. He should just, right or wrong, post something.
It demonstrates a profound lack of consideration and support for the troops (not to mention Dingledein), who have sacrificed so much, to hem and haw and say, "Oh...I want to be sure I get it right before posting the bits all the generals insist are necessary."
I mean...what's next? Are we to be subjected to Roxy Music videos? Bonnie Tyler?
What will it take before Cesca starts to actually LEAD?

how about a bowl of Fruit Loops? He's gotta be hungry, with all that hemming and hawwing he does. And, Fruit Loops comes with 3 grams of fiber, and makes your tummy feel good.

Some wingbutt in HuffPo ended his stinger with:
...BE REASONABLE.
It's their new thang. It's ridiculous and infuriating. Their faxes are working overtime. If indeed health care with a public option will explode the deficit as they insist it will, this will be their argument when HRC hits the floor; a bogus argument based on bogus beliefs. Like always.

That's what they do: They always say we do that which is exactly what they themselves do. It's called mirroring. It's how they deflect the truth about themselves, It's nuts.
I'm grateful every day to Bob Cesca for letting us talk about this shit.

danann, it's called "psychological projection" and it's an inherent part of the authoritarian personality.

Exactly, wrong-wingers do nothing but project; in fact the above quote has a mirror in fat boy (Limbaugh, that’s what I call him). He used to say all the time on his radio show that liberals made all of their decisions based off of emotions and only his side used reason and intelligence. After a while I realized that every subject he touched on during his show was him and his dittiots thinking emotionally, that’s when I learned of projection and eventually came to recognize fat boy was a master of it. The dittiots have learned well from him.

Hey Watchdog, I'm pretty sure everyone here knows who you're referring to when you say Fat Boy.
