Tea Party: The Movie

This is not a joke.

More doofs who very likely voted for Bush twice.

Notice how they predominantly feature the African-American guy? Talk about over-doing the "we're not a bunch of racists! We have a black guy on our side, see?" schtick.

Where were they when Bush shredded the Constitution?
Where were they when Bush created the Medicare Part D program?
Where were they when Bush doled out 700 billion to Wall Street?

Oh yeah, I forgot. They didn't care then because it was a good old boy from Texas in charge. I say Texas loosely since these idiots couldn't even figure out Bush Jr. was a blue blood from Connecticut.

What a bunch of ignorant rednecks.

I love the voice-over artist they chose too. So cliché.

What it should have said was:

"In a wooooorld where demagoguery reins supreme...

Where intelligence is no longer a prerequisite to hold public office...

Where the inmates are running the asylum..."

* Feel free to add to this script. I look forward to seeing others' takes on this.

Where racism is rampant, accepted and obvious

Where homophobia reins supreme

Where hypocrisy and lies are the rule of law

Where men tell women what to do with their bodies

Where a fetus is more important than an already living breathing human being

Correction, Bob. This is not a spoof. It's definitely a joke.

Note the "FreedomWatch" sign on the lectern where Sarah Beth or whatever the fuck her name is brays. Wonder who's paying the bills for this schlock.

I just checked over at IMDB and this film isn't listed. Also, Ground Floor Video and Convergence Entertainment don't look like real production companies. The trailer does look professional, like there is money behind this thing, but I doubt you're gonna see this at your local theater.

From what I gather from the trailer, this movie seems to be about a black guy named Nate who joined an all white group of nitwits.

You know, after watching these tea partiers, I gotta wonder, who's the genius behind the sales of these Revolutionary War costumes? Someone's makin big bucks off these sissy wingnuts.

"riddled with bullets"... that's not right.

Bob, when I ran this video as my "morning awful" a couple of weeks ago I did about 5 minutes of online research and discovered that, yes, the creator of this video has received a net tax cut this year. Eye-roh-nee!

Shouldn't this really be called a rogue-umentary?
