On Track From Depression to Job Growth
While we aren't quite feeling it yet, it's entirely possible that this month or next month will show jobs growth.

It's no easy feat to go from 700,000 job losses per month to job growth within a year. Adding the balance of the TARP funds to a jobs package might supercharge the process even more.

Between this and Jed Lewison's article on kos regarding job growth under Dems, we could be heading in the right direction if history means anthing.
Socialist thugs are better at creating private sector jobs

In light of the good news in today's jobs report, here's something that the Republican loons who call President Obama a socialist thug should wrap their minds around: since 1959, the average private sector job growth under four-year Democratic administrations is 11.7%. Under Republican administrations, it's 5.4%.
In other words, during the four years of a Democratic administration, private sector job creation has, on average, grown more than twice as quickly as it has under Republican administrations.
In closing Jed drops this gem:
"Meanwhile, I'm just looking forward to hearing Glenn Beck's conspiracy theory on why these numbers are false."
I'm with Jed!

When I read that yesterday it actually pissed me off. Dems are so bad at their own PR it's shameful. They should be on tv everyday with Jed's chart and those job growth numbers in ALL CAPS AND BOLD! If the public can at least grasp that they'd never vote for Republicans again just on the stats alone. Thanks for whispering this good news and keeping it on the down low. Idiots!

I heard two days ago that productivity is at it's highest level in recorded history. That is unsustainable so this could be the break.

Turning the remaining TARP money into jobs money is a brilliant stroke of populist "common sense" leadership.
