Robert Gibbs Makes with the Palin Joke
I second John Cole's reaction to this:

Excellent and funny. Robert Gibbs mocking Sarah Palin's stupid cheat sheet.
We must never stop mocking her unbelievable lack of smarts, veracity and substance. Republicans would do well to join the mockery, too. She's arguably the leader of her party (her or Limbaugh) and, at some point, she was actually worried that she'd forget "tax cuts." A Republican. Tax cuts. When we stop mocking her, when the press and the netroots and the Democrats begin to say, "Enough with the Palin is stupid remarks," that's when she begins to be taken seriously. That must not happen.
Oh, and Sullivan should lighten up.

Palin has played the press like a fiddle. She blacks them all out, while at the same time claiming they are unfair to her--twofer.
and they eat it up--her coverage ion the "liberal" media has been so intellectually dishonest, it is staggering. She is unqualified--PERIOD. End of story.

This was hilarious to watch. I especially liked the part where he said he crossed out bread and made sure to include hope and change.

I dunno. It's good sport to make fun of her but it doesn't really make any difference. It will strengthen the resolve of the teabaggers. The people who cannot stand her are not going to ever change their minds. And, she is so polarizing that most people have a strong opinion about her already.
All publicity is good publicity for Palin herself, of course. What might hurt her chances as a candidate just makes her more valuable to FOX.

I honestly think that this was just a stunt- she wants this kind of ridicule! Sarah Palin doesn't need to be reminded that all her party has is tax cuts (surprise: they're only for the wealthy!) and some glib notion of American freedom. She's just looking to score some non-elitist cred- you know she just a regular ol' dumbass like you, Cletus. And all those hotshot fact-memorizers can suck it!

Actually, Bob...
Andrew Sullivan doesn't need to "lighten up". He needs to hang it up. He's an insufferable conservative apologist, and his mock outrage over Gibb's joke is absolutely pathetic.

For Sullivan to be so sanctimonious about Gibbs' joke is ridiculous.

Cmon Siimon, thats going a bit overboard.
Also, he was hardly "outraged"
Still, I agree that her stupidity should shown in theaters nationwide

Limbaugh is the boss, not Palin. She kissed his fat ass over his retard comments and threw whatever remained of her self respect out with the handicapped baby and the bathwater.
Horrible, horrible person.

How many people were at teabagpalooza? Too bad the Iraq war protests couldn't get this amount of coverage .....
Also, it was funny. Satire is (and sometimes so is retard).

It's funny but I wish Gibbs hadn't done it at a press conference given Palin more press unless he wanted to detour cons into talking about stupid stuff. I prefer a more professional tone, not auditioning for SNL. I am in the land of cons in KY, watching FOX crap all day and they love any reason to hate Dems more.
The funniest reaction I saw was Hasselbach's on the View; I thought she was going to need a medic while shrieking at Joy Behar.

Tune in to Andrew Sullivan daily, and I really thought he was a tad? intense about it all. Actually he tends to get like that at times, but hey, that's Andrew.
P.S The mistake all the bloggers seem to make is this constant reporting and commenting on every damn little thing!! Most times it makes something bigger than it really is. Life is about, off the cuff, snarky, fun etc..and so it should be.
