Elvis mentioned this on the podcast yesterday and it's really worth repeating:
The Council on American-Islamic relations has condemned plans for a Tea Party protest outside a southern California mosque, whose organizers are urging protesters to bring dogs with them because Muslims "hate dogs." [...]
The email goes on to say that Muslims "hate dogs. ... Tennessee was able to stop the Mosque so bring your Bibles, flags, signs, dogs and singing voice on Friday."
Freedom of Religion -- but only for the tea party. I wonder how many different ways the tea party will embarrass itself while confirming everything we've been saying about the bigotry of its membership. Besides, I thought the tea party was all about lower taxes and smaller government -- not racism or intolerance. Uh-huh.
