Erick Erickson has great ideas. Like his latest blog entry in which he proposes rebooting the Willie Horton ads:

Yeah, and maybe the Republicans should do a new version of Jesse Helms' White Hands ad, or maybe roll out some new mailers with watermelons on the White House lawn. I mean, doesn't he know? The Willie Horton ads were notoriously racist -- high water marks for the GOP's Southern Strategy.
And yet the Republicans and teabaggers will flip their shit (see Sarah Palin's latest screed) if anyone suggests there are racist components to their politics.
