Fox News Channel spent much of yesterday and today ripping Stephen Colbert for testifying in Congress on the issue of migrant workers. To be expected.
But Chuck Todd, while hosting Hardball, had the staggering nerve to excoriate Colbert for disrespecting the institution of the U.S. Congress and -- get this -- accused Colbert of "jumping the shark." All this from a very serious cable news villager who treats politics as sport.
