Election 2012

Aquafresh: Believe in America

Mitt Romney officially launched his exploratory committee for seeking the Republican nomination for president yesterday afternoon under the banner of his campaign slogan "Believe in America." His campaign also released the following video to accompany the announcement.

America. Business. Freedom. America. Business. Business. Fiscal discipline. Freedom. Greatest nation ever. America fuck yeah.

The slogan "Believe in America" is obviously meant to imply that some people don't believe in America. Or, more specifically, President Obama doesn't believe in America.

Or, as someone on twitter suggested -- I Guess "Eagle Fireworks 9-11 Thanksgiving Handgun Football Explosion" was taken.

As for the title, the folks at Slate bring us this glorious comparison between Romney's campaign logo and toothpaste:

It seems fitting to me, though I don't believe I would buy toothpaste from Mitt Romney. The used car salesman vibe is too overwhelming.
