Low tax rates for the wealthy won't create jobs. We know this. Fact. Spending, not tax cuts, stimulates the economy and creates jobs. Via Ezra Klein, proof in convenient bar graph form:

When the top marginal tax rates were 39.6 percent and higher, job creation was significantly higher. Anything lower than that and job creation practically disappears.

Why in the blue blazes are we debating more tax cuts for the rich when unemployment is 9.1 percent?
