Know Who Else Has Free Birth Control? Red China!

As I briefly mentioned last night, the Department of Health and Human Services has announced new regulations that would require health insurance companies to cover women’s health care services, such as breast exams and birth control, without co-pays or deductibles.

Good news, right? Yes! Unless you're an "expert" invited onto Fox News to give your very expert opinion on the matter.

Fox News' resident birth-control “expert” Family PAC Federal Vice President Sandy Rios had a lot of well-researched and bonafide expert opinions to share with Fox News viewers today, but these two struck a certain chord with me.

“Is the White House out of their mind? Does the West Wing not know what the left wing is doing? We’re $14 trillion in debt and now we’re going to cover birth control, breast pumps, counseling for abuse? Are we going to do pedicures and manicures as well?” [...]

In Red China, they have this down to a science. The local health care centers make women come in every month to be examined to see if they’ve had their cycle to make sure they are taking their medication and if they have a baby they are roundly punished, if they have an extra baby that baby is aborted. That is the control we’re moving toward.”

Red China!

Hey, ya' know who else believed in socialism? Jesus Christ!

Oh, where you expecting me to say Hitler?

I’m sick to death of these assholes. Yeah, and you know what, asshole lady? I’d be totally fine with my taxes paying for a free manicure, if it also meant Sandy’s whiny rich entitled asshole bosses would have all their loopholes tightened.

Because birth control is as much of a luxury as a manicure. Aaargh! Stupid fucking stupids. I can’t bear it. I hope Sandy gets knocked up seven ways to Sunday so many times that she suddenly realizes how much of a necessity birth control really is.

I’m not sure if there’s anyone out there desperate enough who would be up to the job.

This is where we are in America, birth control is now considered controversial. Didn’t we have this debate 5o friggin years ago?

We’re regressing, and now we have idiots like Steve King who claim it will wipe out the human race. Seriously.

    This country is so stupid.

Glad to see you pick up on this, Ashby. It didn’t get too much attention due to the debt ceiling deal.

It is a really good thing. It covers mammograms, and other women’s hc issues as well.

I can’t believe we’re offering women counseling for abuse! I mean, what a waste of money! All they have to do is find any random woman on the street and she’ll be able to relate!

…Yeah. I like how the “party of fiscal responsibility” completely misses the concept that an unwanted child offered up to the system is going to cost the tax-payers billions more over the course of that child’s lifetime, while simple preventative care would’ve cost all of us a lot less. The taxpayer is paying for it either way– so why not pay for preventative care? I mean, if we can have a “pre-emptive” war…
