Republican Party

About Those Stafford Loan Rates

Circling back to the president on Jimmy Fallon, here's John Boehner with the Biggest Lie of the Day (so far):

No, see the Democrats voted to cut the loan's interest rate to 3.4 percent in 2007. The law is about to expire, and the Democrats want to renew it. But since there was a sunset on the law (President Bush was in the White House back then), Boehner is lying by saying the Democrats -- who, again, created the law and want renew it -- actually want to kill the law.

This is how the modern Republican Party operates. Lies, lies, lies.

As my college aged kids say,

    Only old people use twitter.

If Boehner thinks that he is affecting their opinions by having someone tweet this nonsense, he is dead wrong.

John Boehner has a face and a demeanor that begs to be punched in.

Question for Boehner: The Bush tax cuts were written with a 10 year expiration date. Does that mean Bush was the one who pushed for the tax rates to go up?

Glad to see the caveat “so far”. As noted below, the day is young and Boehner ain’t the only GOP douchesprocket with a Twitter feed or a Faux News megaphone at the ready.

The link mentioned in Boehner’s Tweet, to make it easier for anyone wanting to read his bile:

Wow…this Right Wing Bubble that Bill Maher keeps talking about is REAL, and it is an impenetrable wall of BULLSHIT! Crazy that 50% of the electorate will not realize that this is just another lie from these asshats.

  • Phillip Ibarra

Wow, John Boehner is a douchebag!

  • Draxiar

Lies are all they have since facts aren’t on their side.

The biggest lie of the day….? It’s early yet. There’s more than enough time to top this one.
