The Romneys are highly offended that a CNN pundit would dare question the validity of Ann Romney's life experience in regards to relating to the average American mother.
So offended that she "loved it" and considered it a "gift."
Ann Romney said on Sunday that Hilary Rosen’s comments about her role as a stay-at-home mom were “an early birthday present.” Ann Romney spoke at a fundraiser in Florida Sunday that was overheard and reported on by the press. “It was my early birthday present for someone to be critical of me as a mother, and that was really a defining moment,” Romney said, “and I loved it.”
Mitt Romney also discussed what his campaign dubbed last week the “war on moms,” calling it a “gift.”
Of course.
Ann and Mitt weren't actually offended by Rosen's implication, probably because what she said was correct, however it was the perfect opportunity to score a political point.
And the media bought every word of it. Suckers.
