'Ballsy' McCain Helps Filibuster Insourcing Tax Break

This happened yesterday while everyone was applauding John McCain's maverick-ish Bachmann speech.

Senate Republicans on Thursday blocked the No.1 item on the president's congressional 'to-do-list,' refusing to allow a vote on a bill that would give tax breaks for companies that 'insource' jobs to the U.S. from overseas while eliminating tax deductions for companies that move jobs abroad.

Of course McCain voted against cloture and in favor of the filibuster, just like nearly all of the Republicans. You know, because he's a ballsy maverick. So the government will continue to offer corporate welfare to corporations that ship jobs overseas, thanks to the Republicans who not only filibustered a tax break, but they also supported the practice of shipping jobs overseas. You know, because they distrust "foreigners" while accusing President Obama of seeming "foreign."
