In other news, the owner of the New York Jets says he would rather see a Romney victory than a Jets victory. That's probably a good thing for him because at this point a Romney victory is more likely. But that's not saying much.

According to Deadspin, Woody Johnson was one of the primary proponents of keeping the replacement referees on the field. And this is the guy who picked Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow, therefore it's fitting that he also picks Mitt Romney.

Greedy owners like Woody Johnson should be more careful because they're running the risk that average football fans, the largest fanbase in the country, are going to make the connection and realize that the owners are the 1 percent and that they love them some Mitt Romney.

Even if you aren't among those who call themselves fans, you should recognize that the battle between the 1 percent and the 99 percent is going meta in America and it's bleeding over into areas that usually aren't political. And aristocratic overreach is what's pushing us to that point.

Now that I'm done preaching -- here's the latest from The Onion.
