Epic Fail

Paul Ryan Lost His Home Town

Not only did Paul Ryan lose his home town of Janesville, Wisconsin in a battle against Democratic challenger Rob Zerban, the Romney-Ryan ticket was annihilated.

via Political Wire

Even though Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) won re-election at the same time he was on the national ticket, the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel notes he was crushed in his hometown of Janesville, WI by challenger Rob Zerban (D), 55% to 44%. Ryan had never lost Janesville in a re-election campaign before.

In addition, the Obama-Biden ticket defeated Romney-Ryan ticket in Janesville by a whopping 25 points, 62% to 37%.

Remember when Paul Ryan was going to swoop in and bring substance to the campaign trail? He was suppose to be the "bold" choice.

Good times.

As a bonus, here's Mister Substance pretending to honor Labor Day last year.

Janesville is no fan of Ryan.

    Must. Have. Cartoon.

    I live for daily Cartoon.

OK, it was a swell video of an epic fail. BUT IT WAS NOT A CARTOON.

Accidentally posted my comment to this in the previous thread. But it’s good to see some working class bastions starting to reject the greed and selfishness platform.

One of the single stupidest things Romney did was to ask Ryan to be his VP. It was obvious from the start that Ryan was not going to help at all with independent voters. It was like repeating 2008 all over again, when Palin did nothing to help McCain.

Paul Ryan looked like he wanted to bolt, and it’s not hard to understand why. Commoners politely asking him uncomfortable questions—the horror! And they wouldn’t go away when they were dismissed!

I bet Ryan had nightmares about that parade for a week.

    “Mister Substance”

Ha! Good name for him! Krugman pretty well debunked the notion of Ryan=substance. http://www.politicalruminations.com/2012/10/a-collection-of-15-quotes-about-paul-ryan-and-the-ryan-plan-by-economist-paul-krugman.html
