The sixth shooting incident in a week involving children shooting children:
Police say a 5-year-old Texas boy is in critical condition after being shot in the head by his older brother.
Denton Police spokesman Orlando Hinojosa told the Denton Record-Chronicle the boy was airlifted to a Dallas hospital Saturday after his 8-year-old brother shot him with a .22-caliber rifle he found inside the family home around 11:30 a.m. He said police are investigating the incident as an accident.
Two adults and other children were at home when the shooting occurred. Hinojosa said the boy was in critical condition.
