Glenn Greenwald NSA

I Wonder If I Can Get an Autographed Copy

Paydirt.

Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who first reported on a trove of classified documents leaked by Edward J. Snowden, will write a book about National Security Agency surveillance, his publisher announced on Wednesday. [...]

The book was acquired by Metropolitan Books, an imprint of Henry Holt, and is expected to be published in March 2014. It will expose “the extraordinary cooperation of private industry and the far-reaching consequences of the government’s program, both domestically and abroad,” the publisher said in a statement.

Of course this was inevitable. I wonder if the reporting will be murky, coy and repetitive — and will the prose make my eyes bleed? Fingers crossed!

Though I’m disappointed. I thought for sure he’d release the book a little closer to the midterms to undermine the Democrats — you know, because freedom.
