I honestly began the day yesterday thinking I’d take a break from covering the NSA/Snowden beat. But no. Greenwald, and four other reporters who co-authored with him, released a new Snowden “bombshell” article yesterday regarding Microsoft’s involvement with PRISM.
But there are several key things wrong with the piece and I have some pretty harsh things to say about it, so I’m compiling everything in column form to be posted Sunday night.
Just by way of a preview, go to the article and try to find a link to the actual “top secret documents” he ballyhoos in the piece. I’ll save you the time: he barely even quotes the documents, much less posts them. Once again, another Greenwald article raises more questions than it answers.
