Fox News host Andrew Tantaros has figured out why the CIA torture report was released today.
It’s because the Obama administration doesn’t believe America is awesome.
The United States of America is awesome. We are awesome. But we’ve had this discussion. We’ve closed the book on it and we’ve stopped doing it. And the reason they want to have his discussions is not to show how awesome we are. This administration wants to have this discussion to show us how we’re not awesome.
While this may be the most vapid, aloof and childish thing said on the panel, it’s not quite as heinous as Tantaros’s co-host who can be heard in the background saying that we “roughed up a few of them, we humiliated a few terrorists, no one cares.”
Apparently, shackling prisoners in stress positions, anally raping them, making them stand on broken feet and legs, waterboarding them and ultimately killing them is just “roughing them up” and “no one cares”
