During an interview with the Washington Post, Rick Perry made the case that he is a different candidate today than the one who failed to name the third government agency he wanted to eliminate.

“Oops.”

This “substantially different, versed candidate,” as he refers to himself, doesn’t give two shits about income inequality because the bible says the poor are here to stay so why bother doing anything about it?

Perry acknowledged that the richest Texans have experienced the greatest amount of earnings growth, but dismissed the notion that income inequality is a problem in the state, saying, “We don’t grapple with that here.”
