WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The uninsured rate among U.S. adults aged 18 and older was 11.4% in the second quarter of 2015, down from 11.9% in the first quarter. The uninsured rate has dropped nearly six percentage points since the fourth quarter of 2013, just before the requirement for Americans to carry health insurance took effect.

Meanwhile, House Way and Means Committee Chairman Paul Ryan said today that he will continue to use the budget to attack Obamacare because that has worked out so well for him in the past.

House Ways and Means Chairman Paul Ryan said Friday he still wants to use a fast-track budget process to repeal all or part of Obamacare, although a Supreme Court ruling that didn’t go his way has forced Republicans to “retool” their approach. [...]

“We’re working on that retooling now. Our goal is to use reconciliation for Obamacare,” Mr. Ryan said.

Paul Ryan has attempted to use the budget to attack Obamacare on an annual basis since 2011. It hasn't worked so far.

House Republicans have also promised us a robust alternative an on annual basis since 2011. That also hasn't materialized.
