Election 2016 Poll

Donald Trump is Still the Frontrunner

In recent weeks it appeared as though Ted Cruz may be close to overcoming Trumpmania but, if the latest NBC News poll released this morning is correct, Cruz wasn't as close to accomplishing that as it seemed.

Trump earned 35 percent and was trailed by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) at 18 percent and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) at 13 percent.

The real estate mogul also handily led various demographics, including men (39 percent), women (29 percent) and white evangelicals (33 percent).

If the supposedly looming Trump implosion is going to occur, there's only a few weeks left for that to happen before voting begins.

I believe if Trump wins Iowa and New Hampshire the race will be over, but I also believe he could lose both states and still win by sweeping the south.
